Why pay more for your cruise?
Kimberley Expeditions can offer you a expedition where our advertised prices are what you see and get, our prices are already competitive. We don't pay commissions of 20% to 25% that agents demand, hence our rates are less of the other operators. Allot less!
Don't pay more. Do more and experience the Kimberley!
Kimberley Expeditions is owned by husband and wife team, Nick and Lorie Linton. Nick and Lorie have been operating their own vessels in the Kimberley for over 16 years. They saw the need to offer Guests a cruise that was affordable on a comfortable vessel, and with a proven history of quality customer service. Our cruises are very hands on with both Nick and Lorie involved in your reservation, guiding on alternate cruises and meeting and greeting you.

Meet the Crew
From the time we take your first inquiry to the time to step back onto land the team at Kimberley Expeditions will strive ensure that you get the cruise of a lifetime into the magical Kimberley region. The crew of our vessels have been chosen carefully. From Marine and tourism backgrounds all our crew have been carefully trained and inducted by our Cruise co ordinator and Nick - the owner. For instance as well as being a qualified Chef with a RSA our crew may also have additional tickets like STW95, Coxswains certificates, Master 5, Engineer Certification and AMSA medicals.
We pride ourselves on our crew’s safety training - the crew receive regular training ashore, before embarkation and on board. The comprehensive on-board training coordinated by the vessels Master consists of:
Fire - Fighting
Lifesaving on board the vessel
First Aid - Defib and Remote rescue
During your cruise you may take part or witness our crew in training. This is a necessary part of remote cruising and helps our crew to hone their skills and be prepared in the event of an emergency. Our crew have been described by many guests, as the backbone of the cruise, they are knowledgeable, helpful and passionate about the Kimberley. Our crew see it as a privilege to share the cruise with you into the magnificent Kimberley and to give each guest a lifetime experience.
Kimberley Expeditions specialises in Kimberley Eco tours, where you can get up close and personal with the region. Plenty of time and opportunity for all guests to participate and explore the magnificent Kimberley.
MV Reef Prince is still small enough to sneak into secluded bays and gorges, hover under falls and show-off the Kimberley wilderness. The fewer number of passengers makes it a more personal experience and means we can do all our excursions together in one big tender, thus saving time for even more experiences of this amazing coastline.
Our cruises focus on exploring the Kimberley Coastline from Broome to Darwin for our 11 day cruises. During our 11 Day cruises you can cover all of the top "Kimberley Icons" plus some of the crews favourite sites.
Our 7 day Wildlife cruises focus more on the Buccaneer & Bonaparte Archipelagos islands where you can enjoy some of the highlights of the Kimberley. On our 7 day cruises we depart or return to Broome and make use of a seaplane for one part of the journey. Each itinerary specifies certain places of interest, there are many other places not listed where our vessel Master may take you if time and tides allow.
