COVID-19 and 2021 Season

Hello from Kimberley Expeditions,

Here at Kimberley Expeditions we can assure our wonderful guests (both past and future), along with our valued trade partners, that we have been monitoring the COVID-19 situation extremely closely including government advisory boards, tourism bodies, the World Health Organisation (WHO), local travel partners and our suppliers from around the world.

The health and safety of our passengers and crew is always our paramount concern.

Border controls are in place in WA and NT.
While we will do our best to keep you informed and assist you, it is ultimately your responsibility to be aware of how they may impact your journey.

Guests are responsible for meeting the current WA and NT State Government interstate conditions of entry and quarantine.  These conditions can change at any time and we strongly recommend that guests check regularly and 15 days prior to departure date.  Here are the current conditions: WA’s Controlled Interstate Border Arrangement This currently includes the need for ALL interstate visitors to complete a G2G PASS declaration.

Everyone travelling to the NT must complete a Border Entry Form no more than 7 days before entering the NT

In the event a cruise is cancelled by Kimberley Expeditions under a pandemic crisis, Kimberley Expeditions will refund monies received OR at the guest/s request transfer booking to an alternative departure (subject to availability).

In the event that a guest/s are directly effected by Government/State Border Restrictions OR directly effected by COVID-19 & unable to participate in their cruise departure Kimberley Expeditions will offer a deferred/transfer to an alternate departure date (subject to availability)

If any guests presents themselves for boarding displaying any symptoms/signs of illness they will be refused boarding & will be advised to seek immediate medical advice.

All guests will be provided with a health declaration 7 days prior to cruise departure for completion & return to Kimberley Expeditions 72 hours prior to cruise departure.

All guest/s will have their temperature taken at time of boarding.  If any guest/s displays symptoms/signs of illness at time of boarding guest/guests will be refused boarding, will be advised to seek immediate medical advice & forfeit their cruise fare.

If any guest/s displays symptoms/signs of illness whilst cruise is in progress, the Skipper will determine course of action on presentation of circumstance.  In the event that the skipper determines guest/s need to be Medivac from the vessel this will be at the guest/s expense.  We strongly recommend that all passengers purchase cruise cancellation and interruption insurance as protection against any circumstance which may force you to cancel or leave an expedition whilst it is in progress.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely as it is constantly evolving, and we would like to reiterate that every decision we make is in the best interests of all travellers.

Thank you once again and we look forward to welcoming you all aboard the Reef Prince to explore the magnificent Kimberley coast with us.

Kind Regards

Debs, Sonia, Steve and the Team.
